Summary

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, 1980, I come from a multimedia educational background, with focus on 3D art and animation.

In 2008 I graduated from Reykjavik multimedia graphics school "Markmiðlunarskolinn".

My graduation project, a 16 minutes animated short called "Yggenykkerne - The Investigation", can be viewed in two parts on my YouTube channel linked in my profile.

Immediately after graduating school in the summer of 2008, I joined AAA games company, CCP Games in Reykjavik.

Now, being a 7 year veteran and senior 3D artist at CCP Games, I have had my hands on just about anything.

I spend my first couple of years at CCP working on their Vampire MMORPG title in development "World of Darkness".

Around late 2009 I fully joined the art team of CCP's flagship product, 2003 released award winning SciFi MMORPG "EVE Online".

Working on EVE Online I've been involved in everything from building modular spaceships to building modular spacestation interiors. I have built drones, satellites, guns, launchers and helped maintain, a 12 year old ever growing library of content... It has not been idle times.

Experience

  • Senior 3D artist at CCP Games
    Reykjavik, Iceland
    June 2008 - Present

As a 7 year 3D veteran at CCP games, I have had my hands on many things.

From modeling spaceships, drones and spacestations, to building and assembling modular exteriors and interiors.

I started my time at CCP games working on the MMORPG title "World of Darkness", a project that would later move to CCP's North American office, and would unfortunately eventually be cancelled.

On "WOD" i was working Mainly on district and city blockouts, structure and infrastructure block outs, level layout, modular building setup and level design.

My main focus from late 2009, has been on CCP's ever evolving award winning MMORPG Sci-Fi universe "EVE Online".

Working on "EVE Online", asides for the before mentioned spaceships and spacestations interiors, I have helped manage outsourcing pipelines, created Spec. sheets for outsorcing and reviewed/managed incoming work from outsourcing partners.

I have helped develop techniques for new shader setups and texture packing schemes, and been part of developing tools to procedurally create wrecks out of our spaceships.

Another task that naturally comes with working on a 12 year veteran beast like "EVE Online", is maintinance.

I have helped maintain, develop and upgrade all of the 3D content of EVE.

From completely re-designing and re-modeling old ships, to changing every single texture in the game, to utilize PBR rendering.
